If I were to shoot weddings, though, weddings like this are pretty great. The whole thing was finished inside of one hour. 10 minutes of gathering and walking down the "aisle", Ceremony was 12 minutes, and maybe a half hour afterwards for couple and group shots.

Unpaid, of course, just another favor for friends.

Posted for C&C. Would like some thoughts to do better next time. The processing is all over the place I'm playing with some first edits with different looks.

I brought a softbox and light stand, but left them in the car. It was such a quick and dirty shoot, I just had my wife holding a cheap speedlight with a Flashbender to get a little light on the subject against a brutally bright day.

#2 - Tell the people on the sides to NOT lean in.
This happens all the time with me.
I don't know WHY they lean in. It just makes them look awkward.
I regularly have to tell them to "stand upright."

I like them.
But I agree, harsh sun can be brutal, because it drives the shadows to be dark.

Great tip, thank you. It is funny that people on the ends lean in like that. I never really thought about it.
