Hoping to get some C&C

Got my new 24-70 last week from Adorama.

Some shots I took last night of the wife.
Strobist Info:
Nikon D300s, Nikon 24-70, AB800 with Beauty Dish & 30 degree grid, SB-900 w/Orange Gel behind the wife fired thru Cybersyncs.

This one was me fiddling with the lights.

im not an expert or anything but the lighting is excellent.
im trying to figure out of to do something similar myself.

Liking the lighting effect! Only problem is in #1 you're losing her arm. Could be what you were going for, but it looks a little awkward when all you can see is her sleeve.

Yeah. That whole side is dark. Wasn't trying to get the entire frame with perfect lighting. I was going for "make the viewer want to see what else is there" look. Thanks!
