Hot Backdoor Action

[TheNevadanStig]

Snow/rain mix today, so I stayed inside. But I go nuts after a few days without my camera, so I set up shop out on my patio. Lighting was absolutely horrible, I think some of these have some of the highest ISO's I've shot.

I thought this was kind of a cool effect. Jay was on a post about 6' or so behind the feeder, kind of looks dreamy to me or something.

Another of the Jay:

Cracking the seed:

This guy is becoming a regular at my feeder. I believe it's a house finch hybrid. They are supposed to be either red or yellow, not both muttled together:

I'm calling bait and switch on this one

Very nice, all! Back yard birding is a great way to spend a couple of hours on a not so great day.

Yeah those Finches have been up to no good Jason Never seen one like that anywhere, a bit of hanky panky going on. LOL Beautiful details though and the colours are amazing on that little one. Jay's, man I love those and those Cardinal's you have up your way as well. Those Jay's have so a beautiful blue to them, stunning.

All the best Jas and excellent shots BTW, very nice to see thanks.

Danny.
