HOT!!!

Ok so I know that alot of you live in places way hotter then here, but for Northern Ontario it's really hot! With the humidex it hit 40c or aobut 104 and I don't have air conditioning in my home, work or van! I don't know how people do it that put up with temps this high alot of the time! I think that I'm melting!
We go from -20 on colder to temps like this!
We are looking at all week like this!
It would be great if I didn't have to work!

Yikes!! That can't feel good. I'm somewhat used to the hot southern summers we have here (I'm a Michigan transplant) but I do get sick of the humidity that comes with the heat. It's really oppressive when you can feel it weighing down on you on a hot July afternoon.

I feel your pain! It's been an unusually hot summer here as well. Luckily I do have A/C at work, but only one of our vehicles has it. The strange part is that it wil go from the mid 60s and require long pants to 97 and humid in less than 24 hours

No a/c at work! I work for a small business and normally we only have a few day's when we would really have to turn it on so it's not really justified! I'm just waiting for everyone who is blasting the a/c to overload the power grid again and see what they think then! Last time a couple of years ago we where with out power for about 24 hours!

It always gets to 40 celcius in summer in Australia - well, where I live at least. I can't stand the heat. We have now got airconditioners in our new house...

I suggest getting in a cold shower. Or swimming pool. Or bath...

Ouch girl!!! You ought to come down to Phoenix, ACs every-friggin'-where! I even have a unit in my not-so-used-lately darkroom.

!04 is hot with a humidity like that. We're having a 111 deg. day but with very low humidity so it's not that bad.

We're really used to it up here in the north. It gets really hot and humidity usually sits around 70-80% so it's horrible and sticky. But you cope by having airconditioners everywhere. Just like in all the cold places, you have heating everywhere.

It's freezing here at the moment, well for Cairns anyway. It was 15 degrees C this morning when I went to the airport at 6:30am. That's about as cold as it ever gets up here.

Summer please hurry up and get here!

This is next to me. It's 11am and from now(ish) till about 3pm the sun will be shining through the glass roof. That's when it'll get hot in here. It's only going to be 26 outside today (same tomorrow but it'll rain as well, they say) so it'll go to around 40 in here and stop. When it gets hot outside you're talikng 45 or more, easily.
Around 5pm my bedroom with hit 30 and it'll stay like that until 1 or 2 am. Yay....

Yesterday it was up to 56 degrees C at roof height and 47 degrees at head height inside!
