I was just looking for some information on what people were using for lenses on the Nikon D800s. Having just taken delivery of my D800E
Saw a post on Goggle and opened it up. Wow "Information Overload" - - I just had to join. Anyhow that is how I got here two days ago.

I searched photography forum in google and this was the second one I tried from the search results, I did not like the first one so have stuck with this one since.

I have found it great for leaning as I am new to photography and the members are always so willing to answer questions.

I actually found this forum on my Droid RAZR as an android app in the back of the ambulance on the way to the ER. It was recommended by a patient I was transporting. they werent on the forum themselves, but had heard about it through their son and was able to point me in the right direction (dont remember how we got to talking about photography). it wasnt until much much later after a very long shift that i was able to see the website on my computer at home. the android app is very well put together, and except for the pictures being small on your phone, the layout is great, easy to navigate, and updates posts almost instantly. 5 stars all day.
