How do I get to this level?

I really want to get good at photography. Here's an example I found that I really like. I've been taking photos, but I really want to take my work to the next level. What do you recommend?

Learn how to do photographic lighting, digital photography, posing, image editing, and spend the money it takes to acquire the knowledge and to get the gear that makes it all possible.

The photographer you linked to still has lot to learn too.

I'm a noob so I'm not sure but to me it looks like your example does alot of PP. Granted photoshop is a great tool but I've learned on this forum that you want to learn how to create amazing pictures through your camera and skill NOT through photo manipulation and editing. Fixing white balance and exposure through camera and in editing is a valuable skill as well!

It takes a lot more than just practice.

Just buy a really expensive camera with a pro lens, some speedlights, an 17" Apple Macbook Pro or whatever the kids are using nowadays and Adobe's Master Suite and you're there! Don't forget the 64GB card so you never have to take your finger off the trigger. There is no learning curve to this craft, it's completely unlike anything else people get good at. You just get the right equipment and you're pro! There's no practicing or skill sets to develop, so don't worry about it, just consume and shoot!
