In my job? A VERY long time.

Nobody here really has the slightest clue how long it *should* realistically take to do most of the things I do--so I could work like mad for a day and then take a couple of days to play before actually sending out "final" products to review and they'd just think it'd taken three days to accomplish.

I rarely ever take advantage of that little fact, but I admit that I've tested it just enough to know that it's true. I could tell them a project is likely to take me a week that in reality is going to take about 6 hours, and they'd just nod their head in agreement. :lmao:

EDIT: I must admit however, that for me, this does not even require that I *look* busy, for the most part. I have my own office, and it's pretty rare that anyone, my boss included, actually comes looking for me. She, or someone else, might actually come into my office twice a week--on a really busy week.

I've tried the "passing time" maneuver. Doesn't work so well in my position. Stuff doesn't get done, and my job gets threatened. So, I just work, instead of looking like I'm working.
