I remember that plant. I did the power layout on it. Crappy 208 3-phase high-leg delta was the only service available.

I went to a Boy Scout camp in Cimmaron, NM in 1976, with a Kodak 110 Instamatic.

When I got back to New York, right before school started, I bought my Canon TLb. I got it, and a couple of cheap lenses, for $50.00.

So, it looks like 37 years...

Wow, a lot of you have been doing this since before I was a failed attempt at saving a dying marriage. Anyway, been using things better than point and shoots since... 2011 ish? Before that, I did a good deal of shooting cars with a Panasonic superzoom that had a Leica lens (all I remember about it ). Before that, all snapshots since I was about 5 or 6. First camera was a Kodak 110.

43 years, in 1970 my Father gave me the Brownie Kawkeye camera he took to Korea during the war for my eighth birthday, been behind the viewfinder (on and off) since, never really liked being in front of the lens though.

Since 2000 or so. Started with a p&s. Got my first SLR in 2006.

First SLR in the early 1970's. Went digital in 2007. I don't count the "Kodak moments" as a kid.

Holy crap, that almost 40 years!

I started with a Nikon Coolpix point and shoot about 2 years ago, then progressed to Nikon D5100 few months ago. Still in the learning process. Love my camera!
