5 but there are that many on my wish list as well. Two of those are kit lenses that I want to part with and replace with a 12-24 or something similar. I need about ten grand to have all the glass I want.

10 for my DSLRs (12 if you count tele-extenders). 8 for my medium formats. 8 for my 35mm bodies. The rest are all fixed lenses, but there's a bunch of them!

Way more than I need. I think it's pretty close to time to thin the herd, and then after that, maybe buy a few good brood cows, and slowly build back up a new herd.

Most of that $10k would go toward a really long prime. Of course, the "never acquire" wish list would cost more. The list is composed of lenses I could afford by sacrificing my savings account. I could buy a 600mm prime but I would probably get divorced afterward. She is being disagreeable this evening......

50 1.8, 16-35 2.8, 35-70 2.8, 70-300 VR, 120-300 2.8, 150 2.8.

So, I guess that makes 6. Seems like more, but then again, I did just sell some stuff.

Next up, an 85 1.4 and I will replace the 35-70 with a 24-70. After that, who knows...
