How much to charge?

I did some product shots for 2 bottles of a nutrition supplement. It is on the company site and it will also be in an ad in FLEX magazine, which is a pretty popular bodybuilding magazine.

How much would be a reasonable rate to charge? Would $500 in supplements be too much? $250 per pic in the future? I am taking supplements over cash.

I charge for time and materials used. How much time did you spend? Were both photos made in the same setting? Have you done this sort of work before?

I'm thinking if I did it, I would like to get $250 - $350 for the first view, and something like $75 - $125 for each additional view done at the same time in the same setting, depending on the total number or views. In other words, if I'm just swapping bottles without changing lighting, location, or set-up... just a bit of cleaning, I can't justify the same charge for the second photo.

Of course, I'm talking MONEY. I have bartered before, but never for pills.
