Sorry......Tv - short for Time value, or Shutter (Time) Priority..

Tv is shutter priority. This means that you set the desired shutter speed and the camera will decide the best aperture to use to get the best exposure, all according to your ISO.
Usually used for action shots

Av is aperture priority. This means that you set the desired aperture and the camera will decide the best shutter speed for the best exposure, again according to your ISO.

M is manual, you set both shutter and aperture

P is programmed where the camera sets both the shutter and the aperture for you, all according to your ISO.
