How to get this look?

Hi All!

So I've seen a lot of photographers using this style lately... To me it looks cool (in tone) with a lot of dark areas and shadows. I'm sure this requires just a few clicks in photoshop or lightroom; can someone tell me what they are?

All I see is a bit of black vignette.

Her cheeks and mouth suffer a skin color issue from light reflecting off the bright orange cover on the dog.

I'm afraid I didn't see anything that indicated a certain look. The image as a whole was very slightly under-exposed, and there was a hint of vignette. What in particular are you trying to emulate?

its a nice snapshot. nothing there that I can see that shows any particular "style". tiny bit of vignetting maybe? easy enough to add that.

I can't see anything "lomo-y" about it, but if you really want a lomo look you can achieve that using curves in Lightroom/photoshop.

Also, split toning can be quite effective in creating a lomo style look.
