How well does a Nikkor 300mm f/4 (non VR) work with z5-z6-z7 as they all have IBIS?

I'm considering getting a Nikkor AF-S 300mm f/4 (non VR) to use with a FTZ adapter with my Z5. Does the cameras IBIS help all that much as the lens has no VR.

With a 2x crop adjustment, I shoot a 150mm on a m43 camera, so the same 6x magnification.
The big IF, is . . . IF you can hold the kit steady enough for the IBIS to handle.
IF you wobble as bad as I sometimes do, then the answer is no. I have sometimes wobbled more than the IBIS can compensate for.
IF the wind is blowing, then nothing short of a GOOD tripod will hold the camera near steady enough. Monopods were useless in the wind. Note, I said wind, not breeze.
