Hummingbirds

[RunJZ]

Even when you know where they are feeding, these little suckers are tough to get half decent shots of. Anyways, they aren't perfect by any stretch, but I am proud of them.

I would be proud of them as well. Nice sharpness and great action, also like the backgrounds to these. Amazing little birds that we don't have here, so always a pleasure to see them.

All the best and good shots.

Danny.

Great shots - sharp and a really nice background. No 3 is my favorite.

And you should be proud of them. Damn, you even managed to get it's tongue in #2 image.

It's a great set. Hummers are a very tough shot. The move like greased lightning that stopped at starbucks first for a triple cappuccino.

Great set.

I agree with the others. Very nice catch with the tongue sticking out.

I really like #3, and while they are hard to shoot the good news is just about everything else seems slow after

What was your shutter speed on those shots? I like the action in the wings.

I appreciate it all. I was shooting at 1/250 on two of them and 1/320 on the third. Fstop of 10. Tamaron 70-300 lens. Shot from about 6-8 feet.
