Did this for a friend whose dog just had a litter. Just so happens the all white one is the puppy he is keeping from the litter. I dont think this will ever happen again.

No. Looks very unreal and kinda creepy.

Not fond of the blue eyes..just make a cute B&W.....it is a nice shot

Would be wonderful without the blue eyes. They really just ruin the shot. I can focus on nothing else but the extremely unrealistic blue eyes.

When i clicked on the thread i thought it was going to be a new photographer because only them and tacky wedding photographers use this awful process, great subject poorly thought out

Agreed with everyone else. Selective coloring is not they way this should have gone. It should have been pure B&W all the way. That is what makes the pic, not with the blue eyes. Other then that, good shot.

I like the concept but the blue is too saturated. Plus the coloring is kinda...umm sloppy (sorry). You have the white of the eyes and the pupils blue as well. If it were just the irises it would have worked more better. Plus the carpet and a lot of the areas surrounding the eyes are blue.

Sorry to be so harsh.

A+ on photo C- on effects.

Agreed. The blue eyes are very overpowering and very saturated. Would look great as a black and white. Love the picture, not so fond of the coloring.

Why black and white? They are beautiful dogs and those striking blue eyes are one of their trademarks. Selective color doesn't work, but in my opinion black and white does not either.

I know husky pups an have quite a strong blue to their eyes (often it reduces as they get older). That said with the selective colouring aspect even if you've not touched the saturation the eyes stand out a little too strongly. I'd tone down the eyes just a touch in saturation, but otherwise its a cute shot indeed (yes yes I'm one who isn't allergic to selective colouring ;)).

That said can we see colour version too ? :)
