I am endlessly satisfied with this camera, and I was sorely disappointed when I saw that they were not producing black x100s's like they were the x100s. Why would they wait until NOW to announce the black one? I would have opted for the black body in a heartbeat. Argh

It's true. I'm going to see if my friend who manages a local camera store will let me swap them out (and maybe give him a hefty "restocking fee") since it is less than 14 days old. I adore the look of the black one to be honest.

If you're serious about doing that, I'd suggest you take it to someone who can properly apply a more permanent coating. But get the finish you really want if you do, not a copy of the factory finish.

a) Sell this and buy a black one
b) Exchange this for a black one where I bought it
c) Wake up tomorrow and remember that the color of the finish doesn't really matter
