The more I stay around this place the more I am becoming confused. I post pictures on the critique forum, I am told they should be down here, now you tell me I am confusing this with IT. What are you people looking for, accalades or fair comment. What I said I concider to be fair comment. I am not going to say great pic when I don't think it is. I thought the idea of these forums was to help us improve our photography, perhaps you can tell me how it is suposed to do that. Ernie

ernie, spanner et all,

its perfectly acceptable to give critique in the gallery. whether or not the photographer wishes it is secondary. however, the "critique gallery" is for pure blunt critique...so in essence you are both correct.
