I feel dumb, check your LCD protectors for straightness

For a while now, all of my shots have been tilted a bit...less than 2 degrees or so, but still noticeable, when viewed on my LCD as a quick preview of shot taken. I only noticed recently how much when using a tripod on some things and it was baffling me as to why the camera looked straight..but image tilted. I almost started doing a series of tests....(images not crooked in post)

Today, when setting up my flash bracket and tripod, and video led lighting, I noticed the tilt again. Frustrated.

Then I noticed when I looked closely at my SchottGlass LCD screen protector (I was using Live View to sample my new toys). The damn thing is crooked. Maybe by a degree or two....every so sllightly.

Long story short, my LCD protector glass is crooked, making me think my image was crooked. I can't count the amount of retaken shots I've shot adjusting for this.

lol. Yeah, I'm retarded. Thought I'd share.

I actually used the internal level on the camera to figure it out today. I set it to level, and stepped back...scene level, internal "level" level....schottglass crooked F'ing with my mind. lol. it's actually clipping my image from top left downward to right side...just a hair.

I would trust my eye over a level. Not much is plumb/level in this world and you can always tell by looking at it.
