I finally remembered I could zoom

I haven't seen George around much, but a few days ago he zoomed across the road when I was leaving my spot. I chased him down and got a few more portraits. He was heavily shaded so my ISO was pretty high.. comments welcome..

He landed on a different tree after I missed the take-off. It was mid day so the light was a little harsh, but I finally remembered that I could zoom, so I backed down to 260mm and finally got an OK lift off shot..

He flew right past me and this is not cropped horizontally so a full 6000px accross...

Altho usually a BIF guy , I prefer #1 of this set. You caught a very hawk / bird of prey, look there.

The greenish tint is actually a reflection from the grass. I just left it the way it was..

I fixed #3 and got rid of the ol' stick in the butt and made a few other adjustments...
