This is clearly a "to each it's own" discussion, but I would highly suggest staying away from the 18-200mm. It is really overpriced and poor.
The 18-55 + the 55-200mm is wayyyy cheaper. Probably could get both for around $250. But I would stay away from those as well.
If you buy 2 primes like the 50mm, you will rarely ever want to touch your 18-200mm. The 50mm 1.8D gives you a feel for real professional glass
without the professional price. It's resolving power is extremely high and paired with a D7000 will give you the power to take some gorgeous shots.
