Well the pro and cons of having your name as the company name is that you name is the company name. If I royally f-up a shoot or have a bad experience I am forever tied to that.

A good way to avoid this is not royally f-up.

Actually, if your name is THAT common, it might be a PLUS side if you do royally mess it up. Because then you could say, "Noooo...I'm not THAT John Doe!"
