I really need some feedback on this picture !

I took this picture this summer and when I saw on the LCD screen I was like "This is a money shot". But when I posted it on viewbug, 500px, and National Geographic Your Shot nobody really seamed to like it. If you ask me I really like the reflections and the perfect simetry of the reflection.

imho, it's not 500px worthy. If the image truly had perfect symmetry it might be more interesting.

right off the bat it looks underexposed and the framing/composition isn't that strong. The rear section of the mantis being cut-off hurts you here too. The reflection is actually a little distracting since it drops off to a dark void. and the very narrow dof isn't working here.

I randomly googled "mantis refection" and saw this image, the entire mantis is sharp, the colors are brilliant, and the reflection is a lot cleaner.
