For your second flower shot why were you at ISO400 with a shutter speed of 1/5000 F4,. Next time iso 50 or 100 F8 because you are struggling with DOF because if you are not using a tripod and move slightly backwards or forwards your focus will be off F8 will give you a bit more leeway
