you should be proud...one thing i have learned, from others on this site...you take the shots that appeal to you..and really, photography is in the eye of the beholder...

your shot here is not only really great...but with your son in it, makes it an heirloom..
the money is cool...but the recongnition is priceless.....congratulations....good job!

Congrats! I won my first back in February and I'm still excited about it so I totally know how you feel right now, and will for a long time to come. It really is a boost to be recognized. Although for me it was a boost to spend more cash on more equipment.
