I wonder how to get this effect in photoshop and what lighting setup to use..

What 'effect'? The lighting? It's due to a square modifier. Or the 'color'? It appears to be a simple filter.

Single light to camera left and some premade curve preset or action. Google "photoshop actions" and it will pull up lots of stuff. There a million of them out there.
