Ideas for photographing my father

I think the pictures are looking pretty good! A bit stiff, though. Maybe folding his arms or putting his hands in his pockets would help?

I felt similarly - good photos (love that they're outdoors) but dad looks a touch stiff, particularly the first one.

He is very uncomfortable in front of the camera. Not really sure why though. He's been in front of a lens quite often but maybe its just because I am family?

Probably. I think they are pretty good for what your doing. Maybe get him liquored up a little and have a hot girl tell him he is handsome and all that jive.
