How can we possibly take what we read for the gospel truth if we don't confront the blasphemies and heresies? Not to mention ignorance, misinformation, and malicious diversion. At the risk of starting an argument, let me gently point out that you are finger pointing.
I'm certain that you are aware of it but you think that the issue is important enough to take this opportunity to finger point.
Others might also believe that their 'finger-pointing' is on an important topic.

OTOH, tattling, informing the mods, is important; they have a set of values and are willing and able to enforce them.

The point of this thread is to complain. It sucks to start a thread on the pretense of a photo and have it derailed with everyones garbage. In the lower left of each post there is a little triangle with an exclamation point in it. THAT's how you report a post to the mods.

I'm not a moderator, but if nearly every thread gets "reported" pretty soon there is no discussion at all, just some started and closed threads. If a post or thread is not actually seen as offensive, the mods are not going to close every thread just because somebody has reported it.

How do you get that from what I said? I simply said don't whine publicly and off topic in someones thread. If you think someones post is against the rules here on TPF, use the report button. Reporting a post doesn't close the thread.

I agree. I don't understand why people purposely have to make comments when they don't like something. If I don't like something, I just skip over it.
