But, but, but... It's the INTERNET, dammit. And each of us has the DUTY of ensuring the purity of thought. How can we possibly take what we read for the gospel truth if we don't confront the blasphemies and heresies? Not to mention ignorance, misinformation, and malicious diversion. There should be standard issue of shiny and pointy hats for all the keepers of the faith.

So, how does the hat thing work then, are we issued those or is it something we have to order ourselves?

Well, I think Mish was in charge of the robes, and Manaheim was doing the t-shirts. The pointy hats are a DIY project, unless Eric can do a group purchase and offer us something interesting. The lenses are a Pixmedic specialty - Not sure of the qualification criteria there (maybe just ask?). I believe there are still coffee mugs, but there's no guarantee that they will be clean or washed. Be careful what you wish for. I am thinking that hammers may be the next item on offer, and then it's probably Overread that dispenses those. And then the recipient of same can't log on. So yeah, be careful what you wish for.
