I used to be the party girl...lol ( yeah, the dance on tables type) I couldn't wait to be out drinking w/ the gang!!! Now, I'm sitting here making excuses for why I won't be making an appearance at parties this year.......lol

I'll be doing the same. Playing games with the kids. I have 2. 9 and 6. I may take them to Prospect Park to see the fireworks. Weather pending. I thought of taking them to see the ball drop. But, it's madness out there. And I can drink at home!

As for me/us...nice dinner at home with DD#1 and her BF. #2 DD and Hubby are working. It'll be old movies and wine and then hugs and kisses and phone calls at Midnight until everyone else gets home.

I do have some party hats and confetti poppers and outside there are fireworks and train whistles.

I have the pots and pans to bang as well, so I'm ready!!!
