the dog. My daughter loves our 85lb Lab, and constantly has her eyes on him. I'm off this week from work, and about the only time the light in my house is nice is in the morning, so I've been excited to take some pictures without the flash. The catchlights are two huge cellular shades with direct sunlight behind them. Even with that, the ISO got pushed up to 640 to try to get a reasonable aperture (which I wish had gone down another 1/3-2/3 of a stop anyways) and shutter speed.

I also have a nasty habit of clipping the top of my daughter's poofy hair. 50mm on my crop camera is a bit long for my tiny house...I need to either to get a 35mm lens or a full-frame camera. I know which one the budget likes better
