What's new

I'm looking for resources to help learn how to better photograph people

Hah, this has become pretty entertaining, thanks!

Mike--Nikon's have GOLD inside them--they SINK like The Oilers in the playoffs... they drop totally outta' sight without a whimper!!!!!!
Ha! Shows what you know...the last playoff game the Oilers played, was game 7 of the Stanley Cup FINALS!
(So what if they haven't make the playoffs since then.....)

If you think you suck ...you will. Get some friends and go practice, friends will love the show and you will learn as you go. Look at photos you admire and ask yourself what do you like about them, your photography will improve in a short time with a positive attitude ....so go now , you can do it!!

I would think that a Nikon would float....what with all that hot air coming out from behind them. ;)

It's the awesome weather sealing lol. OP stop feeling sorry for yourself and do your research and practice. You have a good location where you are able to practice an enjoy the outdoors for most of the year.

YouTube, adorama TV are good places to start; and get this notion that every site you browse to is a bad place. You want results you got to take risks. I have a few books like" posing techniques for location portrait photography"start there and good luck.
