I know what you mean, but if it's something you want to do, do it any way. I'm -sure people won't mind, I like to use my 70-300, people don't tend to notice as much. I feel a bit awkward taking some shots, but I'm not doing anything sinister so why should I and I wouldn't get shots like this.
