What's new

in a rut, help please

Street photography, there must be lots of characters on the streets of NY

haha there absolutely are, but im hesitant to take pictures of strangers, i feel like they would get mad or hostile and i don't want to upset anyone.

**** them you have every right to shoot, this is one of the best i meet him about 7 weeks ago at a photography exhibition in Derby UK

i admire him. it takes balls to shoot random people on the streets of NYC, i have tried and it can be awkward haha, especially if the autofocus takes a few seconds :/ hahaha

Fun video....lol I've seen it before but it still amazes me that he doesn't get punched in the face.......lol
I was thinking the same thing! LOL

I bet you had to walk miles for those, open your eyes and you will see much more interesting things to shoot

was walking around for about 2 hours. walked a few miles for sure.

I read somewhere that if you are in a rut, instead of trying to think of something specific to shoot, think of an interesting theme to look for and treat it like a scavenger hunt. Look for a certain color or two colors together, black/white contrast, repeating pattern, etc...
