In love C&C

Am I improving? I took this one of my brother and SIL. Her hand is cut off which I am not happy about but what else can I improve on? TIA

The composition is good and I like the light, but the man's face is quite OOF. The lens flares don't help the image - were they added? Also, the cut fingers don't help the composition.

Some people like lens flare, some don't. In this photo though I think it distracts from the subjects and as Jaemie mentioned the OOF on your brother is the biggest issue here. I feel a smaller aperture (bigger f/stop) would have made this shot a winner.
In saying this, it is an improvement on some of the previous shots.

Thanks! I wasn't going for the OOF bro but actually don't mind it. Still struggling with DOF and my focusing.

I love the shot. Focus falls on the woman, man is out of focus and that kind of kills it. You could attempt to even it out a bit by not sharpening her in post and only sharpening him. Might help as long as you don't print very large.
The crop on her fingers is also unfortunate.
Beautiful color and exposure.
