From my walk yesterday morning: A very pretty Alcea making a valiant last showing even as fungus devours her. I've learned from my wife that in the horticultural world fungus is typically called "this rust" or "that rust" with "rust" meaning fungus. This poor Alcea has a bad case of rust (yellow spots).
