not ignoring anyone's questions, sorry. Anyways, I have a small studio with an AB 800. I havent used it much because I actually prefer natural light. I generally shoot outdoors. I HATE tight crops, I never use my 50mm because it's not wide enough especially for studio shots so getting the 70-200 is out.

ANytime you move wider than 50mm, you really are starting to risk distortion, especially out of the center of the frame. 70-200 is a fantastic portrait lense. Do some research on sites like the-digital-picture.com
