In the trees.

Been crazy busy this week getting my house ducks in a row, finally this morning I got some time to process a couple shots I snuck in here and there. This was one of my fav's, I quite like the lines and how "easy" it is to look at and find the hidden bits.

You're exactly right. The lines of the trees lead the eyes into looking and searching for more to eventually find the house hidden but not enough detail to make out. Makes me want to walk deeper into the woods to explore the house…unfortunately this is the type of logic that gets teenagers killed in scary movies.

I like it, quite a lot. BUT.
There is something in the upper right quadrant--it's part of a background element, almost looks like there's a bridge back there or something. Anyway, in the upper right, right in the middle of the tree branches, it forms this circle of light, and for some reason, my eye is drawn to it and it distracts me from really enjoying the rest of the picture.
But I'm just kinda weird, so there's that...

There is something in the upper right quadrant--it's part of a background element, almost looks like there's a bridge back there or something. Anyway, in the upper right, right in the middle of the tree branches, it forms this circle of light, and for some reason, my eye is drawn to it and it distracts me from really enjoying the rest of the picture.
But I'm just kinda weird, so there's that...

I think that's a silo by the house or barn.

Hey Sharon, hope you are feeling better!
Carol is spot on, it is a short feed silo beside a barn and I can get on board with you picking it out, I like it there to draw the eye a little stronger than the dark roof does BUT I wish it wasn't as round as it is, it almost looks like the moon/sun when I catch it with the corner of my eye before I see the roof of the barn.
