Easiest Job? The guy who gets paid to answer Gilbert Godfrey's fan mail.
Toughest job? Being a parent. Nothing else even comes close.

Miner is not that tough. Physically demanding and requires concentration but not so tough. Picking daffodils on piece rate is much tougher - straight legs, bent back, hands at ground level with no let-up for hours on end.
