Took the dogs on a walk so they'd be nice and tired while we are out at Christmas Eve dinner. It is foggy and cloudy down where all the houses are. As far as most people know it is not a very nice day!

For those of you that don't live in the mountains, it is pretty common in the winter time that the cold foggy air will be trapped in the valleys, while the warm, clear air sits on top in the mountains.

I really enjoy your photograph of Maya. Here in north central Washington we get these inversion layers quite often, including today. Luckily we don't have to drive to far to get above it all where we live.

Nice shots Steve; what part of the province are you in?

Thanks! I have for the better part of this year been up in Quesnel, but we finished up work there for the season about a week ago and I am in Kamloops now. I grew up here and I have a lot of family in town.
