nice shot

[Ron Evers]

Lovely girl.

Methinks you did some skin smoothing in post.

[rateeg]

it's not the camera.
it's the photoshop.

Lovely girl.

Methinks you did some skin smoothing in post.

And made her forehead look weird...with a big white patch right in the middle of it.

[MissCream]

I think she kind of looks like a bobble head doll :S

[Trever1t]

lol, her head fills the screen but for what it is I like it. In a pinch your phone can at least take a decent shot and who ever leaves home without their phone?

[rocdoc]

I think the criticism you are receiving is a bit harsh. I understand your point and it is definitely well taken. Completely agree on the fact that the camera, while an important tool, is not what makes for good photography.
I like the shot, and I won't pixel peep it to death. Her eyes are fascinating and my gaze flows easily over the shot, effective in that regard. I could write a few pages of cogent-sounding criticism of course, all of us could do that with pretty much anything, but I don't think that's the point for this post.
Pretty model doesn't hurt either...

[NoelNTexas]

this shot was just a quick pic taken during a shoot. This was just a fun shoot between friends for something to do..

P.S. what can your droid do?

Here is the Original out of the Iphone

Here is with the Canon 5DMKII, 50mm1.4 Takumar pentax mount. - YES i know the focus was every so slightly off..Thanks in advance

[ann]

so what app did you use to tweak her?

[Sw1tchFX]

in either one, it looks like her head isn't even connected to her body!

[dots]

I agree. I prefer the unworked, #2 out of all. The editing/POV/bokeh all looks unappealing/strange to me.

IMO, the head is too prominent, in proportion to her body. The bokeh a bit too intense in #3. The angle of piercing - eyebrow in #3 looks good.

[rateeg]

wow nice photoshop again.

Its not always in the camera

It's never the camera.
