Is there gonna be a update for nikkor 70-200 vr ii soon?

Dee you know the dx lenses either tsp down on resolution or leave a big black vignette ish thing on fx bodies, right?

And yeah... Lots of people really don't get the diff.

I just saw in another thread about the Nikon spring 2011 rebate list. The bodies listed under these attractive rebates seem very likely to be replaced soon. Clearance always have a reason, or just my guess. Anyways D700 is in there.
I hate to let go of my 17-55, but I'm too curious to wonder what the 105mm vr & 70-200mm vr2 can do better on a fx.
But like u said a lot of ppl don't really notice the diff, equipment performance is one thing, in the end it's the photographers that matters the most. I try to keep myself on the right track.
