$450-24, 70 and 2.8 lens

do you think I would be paying to much and what do you think of the lens, are they worth it to spend the extra cash

I am somewhat new to photography so if you guys could help me that would be great thanks.

Is it the canon version of the lens or the sigma copy? If it's the canon check out the condition of it and test it around for some shots to make sure it works great and if it does that is an absolutely amazing price for the lens. Can't comment really on the body.
