is this fixable?

i can't get rid of the funky shadow, everything i try (i'm a new ps user) looks garbagey... any suggestions? or should i scrap it and start from scratch...
it's hard to get her to smile for the camera, but whatever, it's not a great shot anyway...

I think it is possable, this is just five minutes work on the resised version so it is rough. To do it right on the origional would take hours. I think you would be a lot better off trying to get another picture.
