Is this flash compatible with my camera?

I'm looking to get a Flash, it will mainly be to learn with. I don't really know anything about flashes. I might not even like flash photography, which is why I don't want to spend a lot on one. I'm looking at the Bower SFD728S. It says it is fully automatic with ADI/PTTL operation. Does that mean that it will meter with my camera? I want something easy to use, but will allow me to use manual if I need to. This seems to be what I'm looking for and it's the right price.
