Is this Flash Kit worth Getting?

Should I get this kit, or just the flash itself.

I would not use the charger in that kit. I would buy the speedlight and the diffuser separately and get Powerex NiMH batteries and a Maha charger from http://www.thomasdistributing.com/s...html?SP_id=&osCsid=a98rm8a91donrsllit8gi3gna7

Be advised: Standard NiMH batteries lose their charge rapidly. If you don't want to be recharging every couple of days get these low discharge NiMH batteries instead:

That's a very old technology...
I had one 11 years ago for my PENTAX K1000(film). At that time was a very good equipment, now you'll have always to work manually. I don't see a good relation with your camera unless you're planing to use as a off camera flash for studio type of thing (umbrella/stand) .

off camera is why I am looking at this one..I dont see much reason to spend $300 on one for that purpose.
