Issue? Nikon 85mm 1.8d Focus Ring (Video included)

I got a used 85mm 1.8.. I noticed that when on camera, with AutoFocus enabled, the focus ring has about a milimeters worth of play.. It doesn't seem to affect focusing at all, but it's there nonetheless.. Wondering if this is something that can and should be fixed or perhaps its normal for the lens.. Lens is on a D7000.
