it's been a while... one for C&C

It's been a while since I've been able to post, I've been trying to read as much as I can and am continuing to try and grow and learn. I would love some feedback on the following image.

What I notice: crazy hair (argh 100 degree Texas weather and tom-boy children). Crazy wild hair aside, I wish I would have moved that one stray hair from infront of Ms. K's eye. Catch lights seem to be "there" but not as bright or as prominent as I would have liked.

What can I improve? If you were me, what would be the the one or two things I should concentrate on next? I try to break my improvement/learning down into small steps so I feel like I'm moving forward.

I am still learning myself but I love your image. Their eyes really seem to pop, the hair in her eyes is a bit detracting but also keeping it there just keeps if feeling real and not posed. Overall I think it is a great shot.

Such beautiful light and little girls! This is a great photo, and I like the hair as it is... It gives a more natural look in kids

I'm pretty happy with how far I have come since I first started posting here, I only used Auto, my girls had green skin tones, sharp focus was an alien idea to me and I relied on actions run at full strength to "improve" my pictures. Now I use manual mode 95% of the time, focus isn't such a mystery, my girls don't look like they are visitors from a far away planet and all my post work is done one layer at a time, no actions are used (ok I do have one to resize for Facebook that I use, facebook's image compression SUCKS).

So one big thank you to each and every one of you that ever pointed me in the right direction, without your help, patience, guidance and at time harsh truths I would still be producing those master pieces.
