A little better here but not a lot. The cold front is just now starting to get here. The temp has dropped 20 degrees in the past hour and the precipitation has changed from rain to snow. Tomorrow's high is forecast to be 10 degrees with a low tomorrow night of 2.

I just shoveled 18 inches off the walk as the sun was setting. We're still 8 above 0 but not for long. Hope you get the power back on Sparky.

We are having crazy weather around here. Our lows for the past 2 nights were below zero and highs in the teens. Today it was in the 30s and tomorrow it's supposed to hit 45. Then on Tuesday, a high of 10. Then slowly creeping back up to 45 next week.

These temps have been the norm for winter here in WY. I'm just glad we are above zero right now... +10, but I'm sure it will drop overnight. -15 is normal for winter, we have had as low as -30.... now THAT was cold.

Coldest I ever personally experiences was a daytime high of -22 in the winter of 93-94 in Pittsburgh. I walked to school that day. I wrapped my scarf so it would cover my face and by the time I got to school, there was a solid layer of ice where the moisture from my breath had gotten the scarf wet.

I've had one for years.......... and for just such a use.

But this last summer the carb bowl o-ring started leaking, and I haven't gotten it fixed yet. The thing will run, but it'll leak gas all over so it's not safe. No one stocks an o-ring that size. I need to just take it to a small engine repair outfit... they probably have some goop they can put on it.
