No, me-all does not hate it, however it is very different than your-all usual work, and not what I-all would have expected. Well done to you-all for trying a different direction (but I-all do agree with them-all about the crop/wrist).

Even if the city challenges you and makes you feel uncomfortable, it is so worth the experience.

I wouldn't be able to get past that.

I don't even like visiting NYC, I can't imagine having to live there. I would die of an anxiety-induced heart attack.

I do like the image though, gives the girl a very classy look without it being "hi fashion" or overdone.

Lighting, processing... general feel? I dunno. I can't describe my current work to you let alone the differences between that and what I tried with this one. I can just see it. And I'm glad I can see it, because that means I at least accomplished something different. Sometimes I go into a shoot with the intention of experimenting and come away with the same stuff as usual, haha.

Ask John. Maybe he can put it into words. He said:

So obviously, HE sees something different.

I like it and would like to see the rest of the shoot. Without seeing the other shots, the only thing I'd change is the crop. Like others have mentioned, I'd go a little tighter.

When I read Derrel's description I thought yeah, that's exactly what it makes me think of, that she's wearing pancake or stage make up.

Thanks for your feedback? Haha. I don't really know how to respond to the makeup statements. I don't know if you're trying to make a comment on my processing, or if it's literally the makeup? I didn't do her makeup... I had the same makeup artist I have on 90% of my shoots on this one so. Yeah. Haha.
