Janella Farm

Janella Farm in Asburn Va was a 281 acre farm with a Normandy Style country Mansion house built on it in 1936. It sits empty now, and I believe it's owned by Howard Hughes Research Center whose modern corporate building is right next to it.
I took some pictures of it this morning. Hope you like some of them.

#1 The best for me. Composition, clarity, colour although I can't see much depth. Are they HDR? Don't think the B&W does any favours to the images.

Thank you for the feedback.
They aren't hdr, they have some tonal contrast filter added from Nik Color efex. I used f8 for most of them as far as depth is concerned. I thought that would make the sharpest picture. Maybe I should have tried f11.
I like the bw for what it does to the sky and the feeling of the images but it is hard to compete with that beautiful red brick.

I think the first one is the best. The other ones didn't really catch my eye like the first one.
